Emily Anne Brant (she/her) is an Indigenous writer, speaker & mentor working at the intersection of personal development and decolonization. She is Turtle clan, from the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte First Nation also known as Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory or Kentehke.
Emily is on a mission to decolonize the "self-help" industry and works with coaches, leaders and all types of therapists and healers to create more inclusive spaces. She also offers antiracism and cultural sensitivity training and is passionate about disability inclusion, given her lived experience with three physical disabilities (beals syndrome, scoliosis and clubbed feet). At the heart of Emily's work is fostering communities where everyone feels seen, safe, and truly supported so that we can grow and rise together!

EXPERIENCE & AWARDS
In 2020, Emily was featured in James Wedmore's Top 13 Business Transformations, and in 2019 was featured on The Manifestation Babe Podcast, a top 10 podcast. In 2023 Emily was interviewed during prime time on CBC radio to share a piece of Indigenous winter wisdom!
Emily frequents as a guest speaker on podcasts, personal development events and programs, workshops and universities where she discusses decolonizing business and personal development, antiracism, unlearning ableism and creating inclusive spaces.
Emily was an active volunteer for Toastmasters International, where she placed first at both her local club speech contest (2020) and an area speech contest (2021) in Toronto.
In addition to speaking on others' platforms, Emily has hosted her own podcast The Soul's Way since 2020.
